Consumer warning. Devices sold under names such as "Biophilia", "Biophilia Guardian", "Bioplasm" and generic "NLS Diagnostics" boxes are built on unauthorized, outdated and modified copies of Biostar's copyrighted NLS software, stolen from Biostar's Russian branch in late 2017 and re-branded in China and Hong Kong. They carry no valid software license, no manufacturer quality control, no certified training and no support. Sellers' claims that these devices can diagnose or cure disease are made without any authorization from, or scientific support of, the rights holder.

Enforcement in action
A listing on this page is not the end of the process - it is one step in a documented enforcement sequence applied to every seller:
- Evidence capture - listings, prices and marketing claims are captured, cryptographically hashed and independently archived.
- Formal cease-and-desist notice - delivered to the seller with a fixed deadline and a documented resolution path.
- Escalation - unresolved cases are escalated to payment processors, marketplaces, hosting providers and consumer-protection authorities, and pursued under copyright and trademark law.
Sample outcome - Singularity Technology (China), 2018. Within 48 hours of receiving Biostar's cease-and-desist notice (DKIM-signed correspondence on file), the manufacturer confirmed in writing the removal of its "Biophilia" listings - and was unable to produce any license for the software inside its devices. Its later return to the market is why it remains listed above.
Current campaign - 2026. Formal notices have been delivered to counterfeit sellers and practitioners across South Africa, Hungary, Mexico and the United States, alongside intellectual-property takedown filings with online marketplaces. A consumer complaint concerning six counterfeit devices (R262,400) is on file with South Africa's National Consumer Commission. Sellers who resolve matters - verified device disposal and transition to genuine licensed software - are removed from this page.
